Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Seattle is seeking an Operational Key Account Manager to lead performance and customer experience for top clients such as Colgate. You’ll coordinate across the network, drive improvements, and ensure delivery of contractual and financial requirements while acting as the operational owner of the regional relationship.

You will manage external and internal communications, oversee service commitments, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years in customer-facing product experience with operational tools and reporting systems.
• Results-driven with continuous improvement mindset.
• Cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills.
• Understanding of DHL operations and service delivery processes.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for key customers with clear communications.
• Ensure delivery against service commitments and documentation.
• Monitor performance and identify actions required.
• Lead continuous improvement of customer experience and service efficiency.
• Act as escalation point for issues with stakeholders.
• Manage improvement projects including customer integrations.
• Support customer business reviews and document SLAs and records.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Monitor shipping profile volumes and profitability trends.
• Apply commercial acumen to support growth and strategy.
