Job summary

UCB Inc. is seeking a high-performing Key Account Manager (KAM) in Rare Diseases to lead sales initiatives within the Rare Syndromes EpilepsyUS team.

The role is based in Washington with regional coverage including Seattle, Tacoma, Spokane and Alaska. You will collaborate with medical, reimbursement, managed care and specialty pharmacy teams to translate customer needs into solutions and drive patient education in the local community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree BA/BS required.
• 7+ years of Biotechnology/Biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• Proven track record of delivering consistent sales results.
• Experience calling on academic centers, community hospitals and private practices, in person and virtual.

Responsibilities

• Exceed sales objectives by implementing business plans and marketing initiatives.
• Maximize impact using data and stakeholder input to meet territory goals.
• Profile new accounts, plan calls, and optimize scheduling.
• Maintain working knowledge of local managed care reimbursement and ethics standards.
