Job summary

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Joint Fires Exercise Planner to join our Federal Solutions team. You will support joint integration and planning for EUCOM and NATO liaison activities, providing expert input and coordination for complex exercise tasks.

The role requires extensive joint operations experience, TS clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to work across multiple theaters. Travel and extended hours are expected as part of mission support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years with a Master’s (Master’s degree preferred)
• 3+ years CCMD HQ experience
• 2+ years in a Joint Fires Element/Division at the CCMD or Component level
• Multi-theater operational or senior staff experience if USEUCOM-specific staff experience is lacking
• Active understanding of NATO processes
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
• Valid US Passport and ability to travel within USEUCOM Area of Responsibility
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Participate in key Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) exercise planning conferences/events
• Provide input into EUCOM (PACOM Liaison) J7 key documents including briefs
• Maintain a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for Joint Fires to ensure timely execution
• Advise uniformed military planners on exercise development
• Develop Joint Fires Training Objectives, scenarios, and injects
• Coordinate with NATO and Joint Fires personnel
• Assist in identifying assessment criteria and data collection for assessments
• Develop exercise In Progress Review (IPR) briefs for ECJ3 leaders
• Contribute to TASKORDs for assigned exercises
• Provide exercise support to USEUCOM J7 planning teams as directed
