Job summary

nou Systems, Inc. is seeking a Joint Force Operations Planner to join our Engineering Services Division in the Arlington, VA area.

You will help develop mission engineering studies, run wargames and tabletop exercises, and collaborate across services to refine CONOPs/CONEMPs and joint plans. The role requires an active TS clearance, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with multi-domain defense operations.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7 years of experience in operations research with focus on mission engineering, systems engineering, or operational analysis.
• 5 years of experience with mission planning and analysis including CONOPs/CONEMP, OPLANs, CONOPS, and defense systems.
• 3 years collaborating with diverse teams including engineering and operational planners.
• 3 years of modeling, simulation and analysis (MS&A) techniques for defense contexts.

Responsibilities

• Aid in development and execution of Mission Engineering Studies, wargames, and tabletop exercises.
• Consult on warfighting disciplines to craft wargames examining IADS penetration, long-range strike, EW, and JADC2.
• Support planning through threat intelligence and its impact on operations.
• Develop CONOPs/CONEMPs and metrics to measure mission success.
• Coordinate with Warfighter, Joint Staff, and Service Intelligence Centers to support ongoing operations.
