Job summary

UpperEdge LLC in Boston is seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Manager focused on Consulting & Systems Integration to lead client engagements, develop sourcing strategies, and drive negotiations for ERP and transformation programs.

You will work directly with senior stakeholders to translate market intelligence into actionable recommendations, manage workstreams, and deliver high-impact analyses and executive-ready deliverables while coaching junior team members and contributing to the Consulting

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, commercial advisory, IT procurement, or management consulting.
• Experience sourcing and negotiating consulting, systems integration, ERP, or transformation services engagements.
• Demonstrated project and engagement management experience with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong ability to translate market benchmarks into actionable client recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements focused on sourcing, evaluation, selection, and negotiation of consulting and systems integration services.
• Develop and lead sourcing and negotiation strategies aligned to client objectives and timelines.
• Advise on RFP/RFx processes, contracting considerations, and governance aspects.
• Provide embedded advisory support during competitive sourcing events and negotiations.
• Develop engagement plans, manage timelines, and communicate insights to executives.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to practice growth through methodologies and templates.
