Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks an IT Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Associate to lead procurement of IT hardware, software, and services. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with policies.

You will collaborate with internal teams to meet business needs, develop sourcing strategies, and drive continuous improvement in a hybrid Dearborn location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Commodity Management, or Program Management ( automotive industry preferred ).
• Strong leadership, purchasing, and contract negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to communicate across all levels and summarize information clearly.
• Strong analytical skills with data interpretation and insights.
• Foundational knowledge of IT categories: hardware, software, IT services.
• Experience leading complex strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiations.
• Adaptable, resourceful, able to handle changing priorities in ambiguity.
• Recent graduates with IT experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sourcing strategies for IT products and services across business units.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, reduce tail-spend, and improve value.
• Report KPIs and sourcing results to senior leadership.
• Build strong relationships with internal partners to align requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships, track performance, and conduct reviews.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of buyers and coordinate with global partners.
• Guide performance objectives and optimize workload distribution.
• Lead complex strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiations.
