Zones, a global IT solutions provider, is seeking a Key Account Manager to represent Zones capabilities to clients and prospective clients in the Sacramento area. You will build your book of business, target new accounts, and receive extensive training in Zones solutions and the technology industry.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of outside field sales in IT hardware, software, or IT services in your local territory.
• Ability to navigate global level organizations to run discovery, identify buying cycle, and facilitate sales cycle.
• Experience in carrying an individual sales quota with noted achievement.
• CRM database experience.
• Knowledge and experience of Professional and Managed Services.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic relationship development and management for clients and prospects to understand their business.
• Position Zones as an extension of the client’s IT department and act as a trusted partner.
• Collaborate with IT decision makers to improve technology infrastructure and solve business problems.
• Initiate conversations and identify opportunities, selling core products, cloud, managed solutions and professional services.
• Upsell, cross-sell and attach products to maximize margins using a consultative approach.
• Research and proactively call into prospects and client accounts using best practices.
• Coordinate Zones resources to sell solutions and provide Five-Star Service.
• Partner with field sales, marketing, channel partners and other Zones departments to maximize opportunities.
