Job summary

Toyota Financial Services in Plano, TX seeks a Manager, IT Risk Governance & Assessment to lead the IT risk management program and strengthen governance across the enterprise. You will shape policies, controls, and standards, aligning them with regulatory expectations and industry frameworks, while guiding incident-driven improvements.

In this role you will partner with CRO, CIO, CISO, and CTO to drive risk-aware culture, communicate effectively with senior leaders, and build sustainable risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with strong IT risk background.
• 7+ years of experience in IT risk management, cybersecurity, compliance, or related disciplines.
• Experience developing IT risk governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls (NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance IT risk policies, standards, and control frameworks.
• Own and maintain enterprise IT Control Library, aligned to regulatory expectations.
• Lead IT risk identification and assessment to uncover emerging risks and control gaps.
• Use incident insights to strengthen controls and improve risk posture.
• Partner with senior executives to deliver clear, business-focused governance recommendations.
