City of Mesa is seeking an IT Procurement Analyst / IT Purchasing and Contract Coordinator to lead IT-related purchasing and contract administration within the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT). You will draft RFBs/RFPs/RFIs, evaluate proposals, and ensure compliance with procurement laws.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in municipal procurement, IT software licensing, and asset management, with strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams and with vendors.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of procurement and contract administration, municipal or public sector preferred.
• Experience in IT procurement, software licensing, and asset management desirable.
• Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Mansioni

• Serve as the key coordinator for IT-related purchasing, contract negotiation, and administration within DoIT.
• Develop scope, specifications, and requirements for IT projects and procurements.
• Draft, review, and process RFBs, RFPs, and RFIs.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate terms, and clarify contract requirements.
• Award or recommend contracts and ensure compliance with procurement laws.
• Monitor contract expenditures, software licenses, and enterprise agreements.
• Prepare Council Reports and attend Council Study Sessions.
• Coordinate purchasing packages, gather quotes, create purchase orders, track deliveries, and process invoices.
• Maintain asset management records and knowledge of IT applications and procurement law.
• Communicate across organizational levels and work with vendors and internal teams.
