Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Staff Program Manager to lead strategic IT programs within GM’s Global Planning, Design, and Product IT organization. You will drive complex initiatives from concept through delivery and partner with engineering, product, and executive teams to enable delivery excellence.

You will shape roadmaps, governance, and change management practices to drive scalable, high-impact transformation across GM. Hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program management or engineering leadership in complex environments.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, or related field.
• Demonstrated success leading large cross-functional programs with data-centric focus.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics for programs.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and executives.
• Manage sequencing of dependent work and adjust plans when needed.
• Identify risks, mitigations, and third-party impacts; implement plans.
• Communicate status with metrics and storytelling to stakeholders.
• Drive strategic roadmaps with clear priorities and governance.
