Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Staff Program Manager to lead strategic IT programs within GM’s Global Planning, Design, and Product IT organization. You will drive cross-functional initiatives from concept through delivery in a highly collaborative environment.

You will partner with engineering, product, and executive teams to shape roadmaps, governance, and change management, ensuring scalable, high-impact transformation across the company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program management experience in complex environments.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, or related field; alternative experience accepted.
• Proven success leading large cross-functional programs, data-centric preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, objectives, milestones and success metrics for programs.
• Champion cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product and execs.
• Identify risks, issues, and mitigation strategies with clear ownership.
• Present progress and metrics to stakeholders with clarity and impact.
