Job summary

Asana is seeking an IT Technical Program Manager to drive outcomes across IT and cross-functional partners. You will own a dynamic IT program portfolio, operate with high autonomy, and influence TPM practices across the organization.

The role reports to the IT TPM function lead and is based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives spanning IT infrastructure, security, product, Workplace, and legal, delivering impact through thoughtful program management

Qualifications

• 6+ years of program management experience with IT exposure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex, ambiguous work.
• Strong business judgment to align processes to impact and drive improvements.
• Highly autonomous with multi-workstream ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging tech for productivity.
• Experience across IT domains: IT Infrastructure, Identity & Access, Networking, Automations & Support.
• PMP or ITIL certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact, cross-functional IT initiatives spanning Security, Product, Workplace, PeopleOps, Legal and more.
• Own IT process portfolios and influence TPM process development.
• Run point on program communications and align stakeholders across IT.
• Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies with key stakeholders.
• Promote TPM best practices and create repeatable processes across IT.
• Drive adoption of policies and procedures through influence and education.
• Maintain a holistic view of IT ecosystem to support strategy and daily ops.
• Help shape the TPM function's operating model and cadences.
