Job summary

Asana is seeking an IT Technical Program Manager in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule. You will lead cross-functional IT initiatives spanning Security, Product, Workplace, PeopleOps, and Legal, and own IT process portfolios with a point-on-your-portfolio approach.

You will report to the IT TPM function lead, shaping the team’s operating model and cadences while driving governance, risk management, and collaboration with partners across IT and the business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of program management experience in or alongside IT organizations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex, ambiguous, multi-stakeholder work.
• Strong business judgment to align processes with impact and drive improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies to boost productivity.
• Experience across IT domains: IT Infrastructure, Identity & Access, Networking, Automations & Support.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional IT initiatives spanning Security, Product, Workplace, PeopleOps, Legal and beyond.
• Own a share of IT's process portfolio and influence TPM process development.
• Run point on program communications, keep stakeholders aligned, unblock teams.
• Identify and manage risks and dependencies, ensuring aligned delivery.
• Promote TPM best practices and repeatable processes across IT.
• Drive adoption of policies and procedures across IT and Asana.
• Provide a holistic view of IT ecosystem to inform design and planning.
• Document knowledge to ensure repeatability and accessibility.
• Help shape the TPM function's operating model and cadences.
