Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end programs spanning corporate infrastructure, applications, development, security and compliance.

You will lead strategic programs from planning through sustainment, reporting benefits to executives and governance boards. You will define integrated program plans, manage dependencies, and drive stakeholder alignment across senior leadership and technical teams.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience in IT/PM
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience as Project/Program Manager in IT organizations
• Technical background to assess risks for technical teams
• Experience with Enterprise Applications projects
• Experience managing external implementation providers
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Proven stakeholder management with senior leadership and technical teams

Responsibilities

• Lead definition, planning, scope and execution of programs; monitor health and mitigate risks
• Define integrated program plans with detailed WBS and deliverables
• Identify dependencies between programs and size/lead transformation opportunities
• Drive stakeholder alignment and report to executive sponsors and governance boards
• Work independently in ambiguity to set clear paths forward for teams
• Adopt and improve PMO processes with best-practice guidelines
