Job summary

HireTalent seeks a Category Manager in Dallas to lead IT/Engineering vendor sourcing and contract management. You will conduct market research for RFPs, negotiate contracts with Legal, and drive cost-saving initiatives with Finance and business leads.

You will define business requirements for contracts, coordinate vendor IT integration, monitor SLAs, and report spend. Strong leadership and stakeholder collaboration are required in a fast-moving environment.

Demonstrated ability to build external relationships and hold stakeholders and partners accountable.
Demonstrated ability to generate cost savings and cost avoidance.

Responsibilities

Serve as Category Manager for IT/Engineering Vendors.
Conduct market research for RFPs and participate in RFx.
Review cost-saving opportunities with Executive Sponsors, Business Leads, and Finance.
Complete contract negotiations with vendors and Legal.
Serve as first contact in drafting contracts with Legal.
Identify business requirements to include in contract documentation.
Coordinate vendor IT integration and access deliverables.
Complete vendor terminations and assist with decommissioning.
Review vendor SLAs with Business Leads.
Vendor SLA reporting and remediation support.
Develop and monitor spend reporting with Finance and Business Leads.
Support on vendor communications including meetings, reports, QBR/MBR.
