Job summary

Connection in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Buyer to manage vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and process purchase orders aligned with contracts.

You will create SKUs, monitor inventory, and coordinate across Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Advanced negotiation skills with suppliers to achieve best terms.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and contracts.
• Strong Excel and data analysis to optimize costs and inventory.
• Excellent problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work with Sales, Finance, and Operations to fulfill orders.

Responsibilities

• Procure goods at favorable pricing through multiple sources and contract review.
• Create SKUs for sales orders and determine fulfillment method (stock, drop-ship, hybrid).
• Prepare and audit purchase orders in accordance with contracts and regulations.
• Manage daily backorder/backlog and coordinate with suppliers on ETAs.
• Negotiate concessions for service level failures and returns with suppliers.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Suppliers to resolve PO/invoice discrepancies.
