Job summary

South Jersey Industries is seeking an IT Portfolio Manager to lead the enterprise IT portfolio alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements. You will drive governance, demand management, investment prioritization, and resource planning across technology initiatives.

The role collaborates with business, finance, and technology leaders to deliver dashboards, reports, and value realization measures, ensuring disciplined investment management and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of relevant experience or master's degree with 8 years.
Seven+ years of IT portfolio management, program/project/PMO leadership, strategic planning.
Experience in portfolio governance, demand management, and investment prioritization.
Experience developing portfolio reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Experience budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for technology initiatives.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

Manage the enterprise IT portfolio to align with business priorities, technology strategy, and regulatory requirements.
Lead portfolio planning, investment prioritization, and roadmap development across initiatives.
Provide visibility into portfolio health, financial performance, risks, and dependencies for executive decision-making.
Develop budgets, forecasts, business cases, and value realization analyses with business and tech leaders.
Create and maintain portfolio dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting.
