Job summary

HAC, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT leader to plan, organize, and execute IT functions for our operations. This hands-on manager role directs IT operations, maintains infrastructure, and develops innovative technical solutions under the VP of HR.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT, at least 5 years of progressive IT leadership, and strong expertise in software development, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and Cisco networks. Retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 5 years of progressive IT leadership experience, minimum 2 years in management.
• Advanced software development experience and building software teams.
• Strong depth in IT technologies including Cisco networking, cloud, virtualization, IP Telephony, enterprise apps, cybersecurity, and data warehouses.
• Proven track record leading high-performing IT security teams.
• Well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for end users.
• Disciplined execution with metrics-based management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Retail experience will be prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leader for IT staff.
• Oversee IT operations and supervise systems.
• Develop strategy related to IT infrastructure, security, and communications.
• Identify vulnerabilities, upgrade needs, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate IT projects aligned with objectives.
• Manage IT department's annual spend.
• Propose strategic solutions and new systems and software.
• Consult senior stakeholders to identify business and technology needs.
• Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems.
• Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems.
• Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff.
• Ensure reported issues are resolved promptly.
