Job summary

Building Material Distributors, Inc. (BMD) in the Sacramento/Galt area seeks a Director of Information Technology to shape the technology strategy, lead ERP and enterprise applications, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data integration.

Reporting to the CEO, this senior leader partners with the business to enable growth and operational excellence. As a 100% employee-owned ESOP company, we offer ownership opportunities and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
10+ years of progressive experience in information technology, enterprise applications, infrastructure, or related technology functions
Demonstrated experience developing and executing technology strategies aligned with business objectives
Experience leading cybersecurity, infrastructure, ERP, integrations, and enterprise system initiatives
Experience leading technology teams and managing external technology partners
Experience managing technology budgets, contracts, and significant technology investments
Experience in a multi-location, distribution, manufacturing, or similarly operationally complex environment preferred

Responsibilities

Lead BMD technology strategy and long-term roadmap.
Oversee ERP environments, integrations, and system optimization.
Drive major technology initiatives and transformation efforts.
Lead cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management.
Direct infrastructure, endpoints, cloud services, networks, and IT service delivery.
