Job summary

The Village of Itasca is seeking a qualified Innovation and IT Project Manager in the Administration Department to oversee day- to-day IT operations and IT improvement projects under the supervision of the Finance Director.

The role will develop a five-year IT Plan, manage the IT budget, coordinate security assessments, and guide staff in upgrading systems; it also leads the GIS Consortium transition over the coming year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, public administration, or closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT or project management experience.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft 365, GIS, and SCADA; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations and IT improvement projects.
• Develop and implement a five-year IT Plan.
• Manage the IT portion of the annual budget and coordinate security assessments.
• Collaborate with staff to upgrade and replace systems and processes.
• Lead the Village’s transition to the GIS Consortium.
