Job summary

Benesch seeks a Director of IT Infrastructure & End-User Services to lead the firm’s infrastructure, cloud, data centers, networking, and end-user support. This senior role owns the full lifecycle of infrastructure and guides help desk/service operations with strategic vision.

The position requires 8–10+ years in IT infrastructure, 5+ years in leadership, and experience in professional services or law firms. Candidates should excel in governance, security, and collaboration across IT teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams and service operations.
• Experience supporting multi-site environments in professional services and/or law firms preferred.
• Proven track record building or maturing ITSM practices with metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a multi-year infrastructure and end-user services roadmap aligned with growth and risk.
• Provides accountable leadership for enterprise infrastructure outcomes including availability, performance, security, and cost.
• Partners with CIO to advance modernization initiatives (cloud adoption, policy standardization, ITIL/ITSM).
• Owns governance, policies, and standards for infrastructure, endpoints, and service operations.
• Oversees DR/BC planning and runbooks; ensures 24x7 availability for critical infrastructure.
