MeatEater, Inc. seeks an IT Director to lead technology operations for its commerce business and provide IT support to manufacturing and media divisions.

The role focuses on scalable systems, data integrity, and cybersecurity while driving strategic initiatives in a growing organization. The candidate will partner with executive leadership to align technology with business goals, manage a small internal team and external vendors, and balance daily operations with long-term planning.

Qualifikationen

• 5–7 years of IT leadership experience in retail/ecommerce or consumer products
• Experience with NetSuite ERP including WMS and MRP; Celigo and Shopify knowledge
• Proven ability to build, lead, and develop a small technology team
• Strong business acumen to align technology investments with operations and finance
• Broad knowledge across IT infra, cybersecurity, data architecture, and integrations
• Experience delivering AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
• Excellent communication and collaboration with executives
• Ability to balance daily IT ops with long-term strategic planning

Aufgaben

• ERP Management (NetSuite): oversee order processing, inventory, fulfillment, accounting across brands
• Systems integration: manage connections between NetSuite, Shopify, marketplaces, 3PLs, EDI, and accounting tools
• Data management and reporting: establish data standards and improve BI reporting
• Project management: lead tech projects with internal team and vendors, manage timelines and budgets
• Infrastructure and cybersecurity: ensure secure operations and business continuity
