Job summary

The City of Baltimore seeks a senior IT executive to lead large, complex technology programs for the Court. You will guide strategy, architecture, operations, and security while supervising staff and coordinating with judges, departments, and vendors.

Responsibilities include directing IT staff, planning technology roadmaps, managing budgets, and ensuring project success with strong customer service and cross-functional communication. This is a high-responsibility, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, information management, or closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years in IT management with at least 2 years in supervision or management.
• Equivalent mix of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Directs staff, operations, maintenance, and services for IT systems, projects, programs.
• Directs professional, technical, and administrative personnel and assigns work.
• Develops short- and long-range technology plans for Court systems and programs.
• Recommends IT systems and solutions for analysis of operations and requirements.
• Monitors network operations and supervises testing for efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinates with judges, departments, vendors, and contractors on IT initiatives.
• Prepares project plans, resource estimates, justifications, and schedules and manages budgets.
