Job summary

The Circuit Court for Baltimore City seeks a senior IT leader to direct information systems programs, oversee staff, and align technology with court operations. This role requires strategic planning, budgeting, risk management, and close collaboration with judges, clerks, and external partners.

You will develop long-range technology plans, supervise technical teams, ensure security and reliability, manage vendors, and translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions for court

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, information management, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology management, including at least two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Equivalency notes: Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and manages staff, operations, maintenance, and services for an information technology system, project, program, or division.
• Develops and implements short- and long-range technology plans for the Court’s technology systems, projects, and programs.
• Coordinates activities with judges, magistrates, other departments, agencies, contractors, and vendors.
• Directs the development of comprehensive project or task plans, resource estimates, justifications, and schedules for various information technology projects.
