MainframeMaster is seeking a Lead IT Business Analyst to drive development and rollout of critical applications in collaboration with Technology teams. This senior role bridges business and technical groups, translating needs into precise requirements and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

You will lead analysis efforts, support development initiatives, and guide mid-level staff while prioritizing risk and compliance to protect clients and assets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience in mainframe environments with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and Assembler.
• Strong system analysis and programming knowledge along with project leadership.
• Ability to manage and implement successful projects and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems analysis activities and bridge business users with technical teams.
• Collaborate with multiple management teams to plan integrations and enhancements.
• Evaluate complex processes and define improvements to meet goals and standards.
• Provide SME guidance in Applications Development and ensure architectural alignment.
• Coach mid-level developers and analysts and manage workload and priorities.
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with laws and policy.
