Job summary

New Millenium Consulting, in New York, seeks an IT Business Analyst for a Compliance Risk System Implementation contract. Responsibilities include coordinating data connectivity, mapping, UAT planning, and documentation across IT and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience as IT Business Analyst or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of AI terminology and processes.
• Experience supporting SaaS implementation projects for Compliance/Regulatory Tech.
• Ability to document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Experience supporting UAT planning and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with integration concepts, user access design, and SDLC activities.
• Comfort working in a regulated environment with governance and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support gap analysis between vendor features and user needs and manage vendor deliverables.
• Coordinate configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Define and validate user roles, access requirements, workflow steps, and approval paths.
• Set up data connectivity and data mapping between internal repositories and the vendor solution.
• Document requirements, decisions, assumptions, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with UAT planning, test case development, defect tracking, and validation.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal IT teams on implementation activities.
• Support change management with user guides, training, and post-go-live support.
• Map current and future business processes to identify bottlenecks and optimizations.
• Prepare documentation for internal IT governance reviews (architecture, security, AI).
• Liaise between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on timeline and deliverables.
• Coordinate tool sail-through of internal approvals with IT departments.
