Job summary

Talan Group in New York City seeks an IT Business Analyst to support its Compliance & Regulatory Technology initiative. The role emphasizes delivering regulatory technology projects in financial services, with strong focus on requirements gathering, process mapping, testing, and stakeholder management across business, technology, and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as IT Business Analyst in financial services.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and business process improvement.
• Hands-on experience supporting SaaS or enterprise software implementation projects.
• Experience coordinating UAT activities and managing testing deliverables.
• Familiarity with data integration, data migration, user access management, and software delivery lifecycles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in regulated environments with governance, risk, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Compliance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements.
• Support regulatory technology implementation, including configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Conduct gap analyses and map current/future-state processes to improve regulatory workflows.
• Coordinate UAT, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Support data migration and integration activities, including data mapping and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with governance, Head Office, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
