Job summary

BMO is seeking an IT Audit professional to lead engagements that assess internal controls and risk management across the enterprise. You will determine audit scope, execute testing, and report insights to management and the Board to strengthen governance.

The role supports a hybrid work model with three days in Chicago or Milwaukee offices, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Typically between 5-7 years of relevant IT Audit experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional IT or Audit designations such as CISA, CIA, CISSP.
• Experience with AWS Cloud environments.
• Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.

Responsibilities

• Conducts audit engagements to assess management and internal control processes, approving the nature, extent and timing of the audit.
• Uses data analytics in advisory engagements to improve quality and efficiencies.
• Maintains independence of audit practice and communicates findings clearly to stakeholders.
