Job summary

Duke Health Technology Solutions is seeking an Information Technology Asset Management Analyst to manage IT assets across Duke Health facilities. You will track inventory, ensure policy compliance, optimize asset utilization, and collaborate with multiple IT and supply chain teams.

The role requires 2+ years in asset management or related fields, proficiency with Service Now HAM, CMDB, and barcode tools, and strong analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, material handling, customer service, inventory control or other similar service line
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and IT asset management software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices, lean, JIT and quality systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders in the supply chain
• Ability to use supply chain software and tools such as Service Now HAM, CMDB, and barcode scanners
• Experience in warehouse and stockroom management including inventory control, safety procedures, and equipment maintenance

Responsibilities

• Have responsibilities in at least one area to ensure optimal inventory management for multiple facilities
• Distribute and restock hardware per established policies
• Document movement of hardware using Service Now, Buy@Duke, and SAP
• Perform inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy
• Check warranty expiration dates and document FIFO
• Receive deliveries and file packing slips
• Inspect shipments and enter Goods Receipts
• Report shipment discrepancies to senior manager
• Prepare and ship Vendor Returns, rotate stock
• Move and stock supplies to correct shelves after receiving
• Transport shipments from warehouse to stockrooms
• Demonstrate excellent customer service with staff and end customers
• Keep supply chain work areas clean and organized
• Manage inventory and assist in annual inventory
• Collaborate with stakeholders to adjust par levels and address slow-moving items
• Troubleshoot shortages and communicate impact
• Act as SME for CMDB/HAM including receiving and documenting
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Perform additional duties as directed by management
• Exert up to 100 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally to move objects
