Job summary

ASME is seeking a strategic and highly organized Senior Program Manager, IP Strategy, to lead the IP Strategy Office's operational and programmatic efforts. This role will drive cross-functional initiatives, governance, and automation while delivering executive-ready reporting and support for AI governance activities.

Qualified candidates will have 7–10+ years of program management experience, strong stakeholder management, and comfort with Microsoft 365 and dashboarding tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7-10+ years of experience in program management, business transformation, PMO, governance, operations, or enterprise initiative leadership.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and change.
• Executive-facing program management with strategic planning, reporting, dashboards and governance.
• Experience creating intake processes, governance workflows, escalation paths, and KPIs.
• Experience supporting governance, compliance, risk management, knowledge management, data governance, or related enterprise functions.
• Comfort working with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic initiatives under the IP Strategy Office roadmap with integrated plans and milestones.
• Coordinate delivery of licensing inventory, governance framework, AI governance processes, and automation opportunities.
• Administer centralized intake for inquiries, governance Certifications, and enterprise guidance requests.
• Maintain routing logic, escalation pathways, and governance workflows.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across Legal, IT, CRO, CX, Standards, Publishing, and Business Units.
• Promote adoption of IP governance processes through stakeholder engagement.
• Develop executive dashboards covering governance, licensing progress, AI inquiry metrics, and program milestones.
• Prepare executive-ready materials for leadership and governance reporting.
• Support AI governance processes and align with Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate KU/MKU pilots, data collection, readiness metrics, and integration with planning activities.
