Job summary

MFS is seeking an Investment Data Analyst in Boston to own and improve data quality for a multi-asset book, supporting investment and enterprise reporting. You will work on end-to-end data flows, data dependencies, and issue resolution with cross-functional teams, ensuring data is fit for purpose and accurately reported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in finance, computer science, engineering, data science or related field.
• 6-8+ years of investment management industry experience, preferably 7+ years.
• Strong project management and process management skills to guide data quality projects.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with scalable solutions.
• Deep understanding of data use in investment processes and outcomes.
• Knowledge of equity and fixed income securities and data methodologies.
• Strong communication across organization levels.

Responsibilities

• Identify, problem solve and track data quality and accuracy to resolution.
• Autonomously manage and prioritize the data quality backlog.
• Track data lineage and resolve data ambiguities.
• Escalate decisions and collaborate with leadership when needed.
• Support data-related strategic initiatives and data packages.
• Develop data standardization for quick issue resolution.
• Maintain data policies and standards in stakeholder systems and reports.
