Job summary

Cubic Defense, part of Cubic Corporation, is hiring a Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Control Clerk to ensure accurate and timely flow of materials. You will receive materials, maintain inventory accuracy, support production needs, and prepare shipments while adhering to quality and ITAR/export controls.

Responsibilities include ERP/MRP data entry, cycle counts, coordinating with Purchasing and Manufacturing, and maintaining traceability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• 3+ years in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, materials management, or a related role.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and transaction accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine warehouse and material-handling activities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Enter inventory, receiving, material movement, and shipping transactions into the ERP/MRP system.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventory, audits, and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Issue and transfer materials to support manufacturing schedules and organized material flow throughout the facility.
• Prepare, package, label, and ship domestic and international customer orders, supplier returns, and other outbound materials.
• Maintain proper material identification, storage, handling, lot control, and traceability in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management to resolve shortages, discrepancies, damage, and shipment issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages, stock concerns, or transaction errors promptly.
• Maintain complete shipping, receiving, certification, and inventory records.
• Follow company safety, security, quality, and applicable ITAR/export compliance requirements; support continuous improvement activities.
