Job summary

Cubic Corporation's Nuvotronics unit seeks a Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Control Clerk to ensure accurate flow of materials, timely shipments, and strict traceability within our ERP/MRP processes.

You will work with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality and Program Management to resolve shortages and discrepancies, maintain records, and uphold ITAR/export compliance while supporting continuous improvement.

This role emphasizes safety, detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• 3+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, materials management, or a related role.
• Experience using ERP/MRP or inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and transaction accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine warehouse and material-handling activities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process incoming materials, parts, and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Accurately enter receiving, inventory, material movement, and shipping transactions into the ERP/MRP system.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventory, audits, and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Issue and transfer materials to support manufacturing schedules and organized material flow throughout the facility.
• Prepare, package, label, and ship domestic and international customer orders, supplier returns, and other outbound materials.
• Maintain proper material identification, storage, handling, lot control, and traceability in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management to resolve shortages, discrepancies, damage, and shipment issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages, stock concerns, or transaction errors promptly.
• Maintain complete shipping, receiving, certification, and inventory records.
• Follow company safety, security, quality, and applicable ITAR/export compliance requirements; support continuous improvement activities.
