Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America is seeking a PCIC Specialist to support purchasing, production control and inventory activities in a 1st shift manufacturing setting. You will coordinate materials to meet production and customer demands, maintain ERP records, and work with suppliers to resolve issues and minimize shortages.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in purchasing/procurement and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Procure raw materials and finished goods to support manufacturing and customer demand.
• Monitor material requirements and ensure materials are available to support production schedules and shipments.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, delivery dates, and related information in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and optimize inventory.
