Job summary

Jackson & Sons is seeking an Inventory & Purchasing Manager to lead procurement, inventory control, and warehouse logistics for our service and installation teams. You will manage end-to-end purchasing, monitor stock levels, and drive vendor cost-savings to support project execution.

We are looking for a detail-oriented leader with 5+ years in purchasing and inventory management, an associate degree, and proficiency with MS Office and inventory software.

Qualifications

5+ years in purchasing, vendor management, and inventory control (HVACR or construction preferred).
Associate degree or equivalent practical experience required.
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel) and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Issue purchase orders for service and installation jobs with accurate job numbers and tracking.
Benchmark vendor prices to negotiate rates and manage credits/returns for damaged goods.
Coordinate equipment deliveries with Production Manager to meet deadlines.
Manage active purchase orders, back-orders, and weekly warranty/credit returns.
Maintain digital Inventory and Purchase Order modules and track stock allocations.
Oversee tool room sign-outs, repairs, and routine maintenance for small power tools.
