Job summary

Motion & Flow Control Products Inc. is seeking a seasoned Purchasing Manager to supervise buyers, drive procurement strategy, and coordinate with vendors to meet production and customer demand.

You will lead a team, optimize inventory, and ensure policy adherence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 8+ years in purchasing with leadership experience, and familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor Prophet 21 preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, purchasing, or related field.
• 8 years of progressive purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or related experience.
• 2 years demonstrated leadership of teams and achieving objectives.
• Manufacturing or data center experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support purchasing staff responsible for PO creation, change orders, vendor communication, and issue resolution.
• Lead hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and day-to-day direction of team members.
• Ensure purchases and requisitions comply with policies, procedures, and approvals.
• Prepare, review, and oversee POs and requisitions; coordinate with vendors on order status and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, demand patterns, and seasonality to support optimization and forecast accuracy.
• Partner with vendors and internal departments to align inventory with demand and needs.
• Review invoices and purchasing records to support documentation and payment approvals.
• Maintain and distribute purchasing, inventory, and operational reports; follow up on issues.
• Support company goals by delivering strong internal/external customer service and safety compliance.
