Job summary

System One in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Purchasing & Production Associate to manage procurement and inventory for a manufacturing environment. You will maintain vendor relationships, ensure PO accuracy, coordinate production scheduling, and manage inbound shipments and billing with vendors.

Requirements include 5 years in purchasing/inventory, strong ERP experience (Datacor/Chempax preferred), and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. CPIM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or supply chain management.
• 5 years purchasing and inventory experience preferred.
• Strong vendor relationships and ERP proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain vendor relationships and seek new vendors as needed.
• Maintain accuracy of purchase order data and close orders timely.
• Manage inventory levels and related billing with distributors.
• Coordinate production scheduling with the Plant Manager and communicate lead times.
• Ensure inbound shipments are received within 24 hours and verify counts.
