Job summary

Fort Pierce Utilities Authority is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee purchasing, manage warehouse inventory, and support five utilities. The role includes leading warehouse personnel, scheduling, and ensuring safety and continuous improvement, reporting to the Purchasing, Fleet and Supply Chain Manager.

Secondary duties include processing requisitions, vendor communication, policy development, and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or related field.
• 3 years procurement experience or 5 years inventory management in a large warehouse.
• Supervisory experience required; MS Office skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensures warehouse inventory is well-managed; reviews reorder thresholds and stock-outs.
• Leverages data to inform inventory buys and pricing.
• Maintains relations with vendors and monitors market conditions.
• Reviews requisitions to ensure best value considering price and lead time.
• Resolves issues with vendors/suppliers as needed.
• Develops and maintains department policies and procedures.
• Leads, coaches, and supports warehouse staff and schedules for safety and continuous improvement.
• Performs special assignments as required.
