Job summary

Moog is seeking an Inventory Planning & Control Manager to govern and optimize inventory policy across the Commercial Materials network. You will align IBP processes with customer delivery requirements and working capital objectives, driving improvements in cash flow and service levels.

Key responsibilities include setting targets, maintaining planning data accuracy in MRP/PCAS, and leading cross-functional initiatives to reduce excess inventory while ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years experience in inventory analysis or related.
• Experience with IBP and planning concepts (demand/supply, production planning, scheduling, purchasing, forecasting, inventory control).
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems; SAP preferred (SAP S/4HANA).
• Ability to analyze variances and perform root-cause analysis.
• Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to access US export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Own governance and control of inventory policy across the Commercial Materials network to optimize cash flow.
• Develop and maintain inventory targets, policies and controls including safety stock and min/max settings.
• Represent inventory in IBP and translate plans into actionable strategies.
• Drive near-term material availability through ITP and day-to-day execution.
• Monitor KPI dashboards covering turns, days of supply, accuracy, fill rate, OTIF, obsolete inventory.
• Identify inventory risks and escalate mitigation actions.
• Collaborate with Global Materials, Operations, and Program teams to resolve constraints.
• Own cycle count governance and drive continuous improvement in inventory costs and service.
