Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency seeks a skilled logistics specialist to ensure parts supportability across all supply sources and maintain stock levels for DLA and non-DLA items. You will analyze planning documents, draft availability strategies, and resolve material issues to safeguard production schedules.

The role requires specialized experience in retail supply, inventory management, and procurement regulations, with DoD certification expectations and a focus on depot maintenance support.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 in related duties.
• Experience with retail supply and inventory management functions.
• Experience with AWP/MICAP procedures and repair programs.
• Experience with demand and supply planning and depot maintenance support.
• Experience with procurement regulations for emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures parts supportability across all sources of supply for shop workloads.
• Provides material support for projects and services as material support POC.
• Reviews supportability planning documents and drafts availability strategies.
• Addresses material supportability problems to protect production schedules.
• Establishes and maintains stock levels (DLA and Non-DLA items).
• Provides long-, mid-, and short-term material support planning for customers.
