Publix Super Markets is seeking an Inventory Control professional to provide accurate financial insights and guidance for our Lakeland operations. The role focuses on information analysis, reporting, and training across shipping, receiving, production, and inventory processes.

Responsibilities include overseeing inventory control, reviewing work orders, and implementing SAP best practices. The ideal candidate has SAP experience, warehousing knowledge, and strong accounting skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with additional business classes
• 2 years of SAP experience
• 2 years of inventory and accounting experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
• Knowledge of warehouse environment
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, Word)
• Ability to train others and present material
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed
• Willingness to travel as necessary

Responsibilities

• Oversee Inventory Control roles and responsibilities in supported operations
• Review and close work orders and process orders
• Oversee inventory control and cycle count processes
• Advise on SAP best practices and controls to operations staff
• Support generation of performance reports and journal entries as needed
• Participate in software rollouts and projects at office or warehouse locations
