Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz in United States (Maryland) seeks an Inventory Demand Manager to lead forecasting, inventory optimization, and cross-functional coordination across sites. You will drive SAP MM/IM-based processes, manage counts, and minimize obsolescence while guiding a developing team.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in inventory control, multi-site leadership, and a strong analytics mindset. Travel up to 15% is required; US residency and eligibility for a US Gov't Public Trust clearance are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in inventory control with multi-site experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience leading a team.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certifications are a plus.
• Expert SAP MM/IM skills and forecasting tools knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting & demand planning to anticipate fluctuations and optimize stock.
• Analyze inventory data, report on turns, obsolescence, accuracy.
• Manage inventory across multiple sites with consistent processes.
• Coordinate materials for large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.
• Use SAP MM/IM to manage transactions and improve processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the inventory team.
• Support cycle counting and annual physical inventories.
• Minimize obsolete inventory with disposition strategies.
• Ensure compliance and assist audits.
