Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Sr. Inventory Control Specialist to manage master data accuracy for inventory, ensure correct parts availability, and support site operations with warranty claims. You will create requisitions, run SAP MM tasks, and generate reports while coordinating with vendors and multiple sites.

This full-time role requires 1 year in material management, excellent communication, and the ability to work in extreme temperatures. Travel and varied on-site duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Material Management in SAP MM or similar maintenance system
• High School diploma required; Associates or higher in business or technical preferred
• Typical work hours are 7-3:30 with potential to change depending on workload
• Expected travel 5-10 Weeks per year to multiple (nearby) worksites
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to interact effectively with various levels
• Safety-oriented; initiative to work with minimal supervision and make decisions

Responsibilities

• Create Purchase Requisitions for site and Balance of Plan operations and maintenance
• Perform inventory movements in SAP
• Support multiple sites with minimal assistance
• Conduct quarterly counts and maintain inventory level percentages
• Analyze product usage and adjust MRP with operations consent
• Learn and use Product Life Cycle Management process
• Demonstrate strong safety culture mindset
• Perform shipping/receiving duties
• Review open supplier orders and communicate ship dates
• Track serialized components and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Generate inventory and logistics reports using SAP
• Ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of spare part inventory using SAP MM
• Request new part creation and extensions as needed
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels at assigned locations in SAP MM
