Job summary

SIGMA-US in Elk City, OK is seeking a Buyer to support inventory and consignment levels in the Supply Chain team. The role focuses on reviewing inventory, expediting material flow, and maintaining a competitive supplier base to meet production needs.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in business and at least 1 year of inventory management experience; strong MS Office skills and data analysis are required. The position is on site with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or combination of education and experience.
• One year of experience in inventory management and supply ordering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review weekly inventory reporting and ad hoc analyses.
• Expedite and track material flow from shipment to production.
• Test and qualify new supplies to maintain a competitive base.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and manage relationships.
• Collect technical specs and food safety documentation.
• Review inventory costing with facility accounting staff.
• Coordinate with dry goods storage and production teams on usage.
• Review materials to ensure standards before sending to production.
• Other duties as assigned.
