Job summary

Stinger is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage end-to-end purchase orders, forecast inventories, and coordinate with domestic and international suppliers to ensure product availability across US warehouse locations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5+ years' experience in purchasing.
• ERP/MRP systems experience; NetSuite preferred.
• Experience with domestic and international vendors; overseas preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of transactions.
• Ability to escalate issues with clear communication and proposed solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute purchase orders based on forecasts, inventory requirements, and business needs.
• Manage and monitor all open purchase orders, ensuring vendor pricing, lead times, delivery commitments, and quality expectations.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations while balancing service levels and costs.
• Prepare forecasting, inventory, and purchasing reports to support business decisions and leadership updates.
• Work with domestic and international vendors to support supply chain operations.
• Build supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including shortages and delays.
• Collaborate with internal teams across departments to support business objectives.
