Job summary

TestEquity LLC is seeking a Buyer II to manage material purchases and maintain inventory levels across multiple locations. You will review requisitions, place and confirm orders, and monitor lead times to ensure timely deliveries and optimal turns.

Responsibilities include communicating with vendors on price and delivery, updating ERP data, and supporting internal customers with accurate procurement information. A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of buying experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 4+ years of Buyer II experience.
• 3+ years delivering financial results.
• Experience with ERP procurement and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of distribution and channel management preferred.
• ISM/CSCP certifications preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft BI reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review usage and demand with all locations needed.
• Review incoming requisitions for specification completeness.
• Place and confirm orders.
• Ensure timely and accurate database information to enable the processing of purchase orders, inventory variables and invoices.
• Confer with vendors on price, availability, and delivery schedule.
• Communicate purchase order status with appropriate departments.
• Coordinate/communicate changes in delivery dates and pricing.
• Mitigate current and future risks associated with commodities and other needed products.
• Manage transaction discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Document cost savings, inventory turns, and surplus levels.
• Communicate marketplace trends to all internal customers.
• Indirectly responsible for product quality.
• All other duties as assigned.
