Job summary

phia LLC is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to provide logistics support for highly technical programs at a Central Maryland site. You will track inventory, manage receiving/shipping, and ensure audit-ready records while supporting equipment availability and warranty actions.

The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, development of storage SOPs, and maintaining lifecycle matrices to anticipate replacements. On-site work with possible telework-scenarios as approved by the customer.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years of inventory control, property accountability, or supply logistics experience.
• Clearance: Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records, material logs, and stock-level documentation with traceability.
• Reconcile property lists with on-hand records monthly; annotate discrepancies and produce accuracy reports.
• Maintain an equipment lifecycle matrix and ledger of inbound/outbound actions.
• Produce receiving/shipping documentation and update systems of record.
• Develop SOPs for material intake, storage, and distribution with chain-of-custody steps.
• Complete weekly facility inspection checklists and risk-based issue tracking.
