LHH Recruitment Solutions in Saint Louis Park, MN is seeking a detail-oriented financial analyst/cost accountant to partner with operations and finance leaders. You will drive decisions through data, analysis, and process improvements, covering costing, inventory oversight, reporting, and planning.

Responsibilities include month-end close support, budgeting and forecasting, and strengthening internal controls, with collaboration across departments and leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, operations finance, inventory accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze inventory, product costs, and operational performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain costing data, support inventory valuation activities, and ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare recurring financial reports, variance analysis, and management insights.
• Partner with operations, procurement, and finance teams to investigate issues and improve processes.
• Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives.
• Help strengthen internal controls, document procedures, and support continuous improvement projects.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations to leadership.
