Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Finance & Accounting Consulting professional to support federal homeland security programs. The role focuses on internal controls over financial reporting, risk management, and audit readiness while collaborating with senior management and federal clients.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in financial management, accounting, internal controls, audit or another related financial field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA or CGFM certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of OMB Circular A-123, FMFIA, PIIA, USSGL, and Federal financial management practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in internal control assessments and ICOFR testing; document business processes and controls.
• Provide audit liaison support to facilitate financial statement audits and improve controls.
• Develop and maintain financial risk registers and conduct fraud risk assessments.
• Support policy development, risk mitigation plans, and management control programs.
• Prepare client communications, reports, and presentations for senior management.
