Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking professionals in Finance & Accounting Consulting to support a homeland security–related government agency. You will help identify financial risks, evaluate internal controls, and assist with audit readiness and remediation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD PUBLIC TRUST; adjudication required prior to onboarding.
• Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in financial management, accounting, internal controls, or related field.
• Experience with internal controls over financial reporting (ICOFR) and audits.
• Knowledge of federal financial management guidance (OMB A-123, GAO, FMFIA, PIIA) is preferred.
• Ability to work with client teams and translate complex results into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and solve complex financial challenges to help clients meet mission goals.
• Assist in transforming business processes, improving efficiency, and strengthening internal controls.
• Interact with client senior management and contribute to audit liaison activities and reporting.
• Support risk management, policy development, and remediation efforts across programs.
